The problem
Planning a trip involves more than choosing a route. People also need context about weather, destination busyness, and when to visit.
My contribution
- Built a web platform combining destination busyness, weather, and route information.
- Added best-time-to-go insights and an AI day planner.
- Expanded the product into a Flutter/Mapbox mobile beta with navigation and contextual destination information.
How it works
GoKnowing brings several travel signals into one planning experience. The web platform supports trip planning, while the mobile beta brings navigation and destination context into a format that can be used on the move.

The engineering challenge
The product challenge is making several sources of travel information useful without overwhelming the person planning a trip. The mobile version also requires a different interaction model from the website.
Outcome
The web platform is live at goknowing.app, with a Flutter/Mapbox mobile application in beta.
