The problem
SentinelOS explores how route context, emergency assistance, and personal readiness can work together in a single safety-focused experience.
My contribution
- Designed, implemented, and deployed the application as the sole developer in a four-person hackathon team.
- Built the interface and backend using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and SQLite.
- Integrated mapping and AI capabilities into route assessment and emergency-assistance workflows.
How it works
I organised the application around a connected user journey: assess a route, access assistance, and keep relevant personal information available. The prototype combines browser capabilities with a backend and database.
- User interface
- Route & assistance workflows
- Node.js + SQLite
The engineering challenge
Delivering the core route-assessment and assistance workflows as a connected application within the hackathon build window.
Outcome
Won first place at the Abu Dhabi University Hackathon in June 2026 as the sole developer in a four-person team.
